Cafe Paradiso on Kloof st in Cape Town was a huge disappointment and not because of the food.
We arrived at 21h00 and ordered - by 21h40 the other 2 tables had left.
Staff were pushing us and we hadn’t finished yet. They asked to settle the bill so they could cash up at 21h50.
At 22h00 a cleaner started sweeping around and almost under our table!!
I walked over to the manager at the till and told him I wasn’t happy - he was so rude I couldn’t believe it.
I asked him his name (Marvin see pic) and proceeded to sarcastically spell out his name.
He kept interrupting me when I was trying to tell him why I was unhappy.
My guest from Canada was most upset and we paid and left ( letting ourselves out the door with the manager rolling his eyes up).
Never known such rudeness from a manager in any establishment.
Certainly will never take a guest/s there again - in fact I will make it my business to tell my friends of my dreadful evening.
