I received an e-mail from an English Airport shuttle service who wanted me to place them on my blog, but they gave me no details of their company.  Oh well!

Cafe Roux in Noordhoek win this week's hero award.  I was there yesterday and enjoyed a lovely lunch here.

Bad service is bad service?

Doodles Restaurant in Bloubergstrand, where I and 5 other St.Luke's volunteers had lunch today gets a bad service mention on this Weeks blog,  We waited an hour and a half for our food to be served and a cheeky waitress posing as a manager told us she was the restaurants manager when we asked to see the manager.  The real manager was a pleasant lady but bad service is bad service?!?

Airport Transfers, Shuttle and Tours

We used this shuttle service for out transport from my house to Cape Town Airport when I flew to Amsterdam last month.  It is owner run and operated.  The lady is very pleasant and even gave us a bottle of water each on our transfer to the Airport.  They do Tours too as the lady used to work for Hilton Ross Tours and is now an independent company offering them.  10 out of 10 from me!

I am rating my flights this year and will put my rating on this blog,

I doubt wether the service on offer, the personality of the crew or the cr?p aircraft configuration will have improved since my last journey of inspiration but hey I believe in fairness and accurate information so let’s see maybe KLM will have improved since the last 8 flights I have taken with them!

My flights to and from Amsterdam this year were super.  The KLM catering has improved!  Pleasant cabin crew on both my departing and return flights.
