Welcome to a new month! The month named by Augustus Caesar.
Augustus (Latin: Imperātor Caesar Dīvī Fīlius Augustus; 23 September 63 BC – 19 August 14 AD) was the founder of the Roman Principate and considered the first Roman emperor, controlling the Roman Empire from 27 BC until his death in AD 14.
There are only 4 more months, 21 weeks or exactly 152 days left of 2017. Where does all the time go when you blink!?! Have a super month all my blog followers, wherever you are in the world.
Singing of for ALNLYB and my 13 other blogs.
Ciao Dave.

Pick'nPay Melkbosstrand.
getting my way? Do you think I enjoy getting on Myciti buses on a day I could have stayed at home and read a good book or watch a movie or walk on the beach...how is that even close to me getting my way?
Last night I spent another few good hours doing my shopping in Pick'nPay Melkbosstrand. with my hands full I approached two staff members at the tuna section and asked about the promotions.
The young woman gave me four tins of tuna which she said was R12.90 and on promotion. I said give me four more please and she gave me 4 more tins of tuna at R12.90 per tin.
When going through the till I was asked for R256.00 which I said was very steep but with no glasses with me at the time there was not much I could do.
When I got home I saw that I have been charged R22.90 per tin of Tuna.
Dawid very rudely told me when I took the slip and one tin of tuna back to him that it is not his fault if I cannot read.
So I was greeted with rudeness by the first staff member on the info counter, then went to Dawid to complain and then got called blind, idiotic, and childish.
I mentioned to Dawid that I used to be Pick'nPay staff and I'll just take it up with Gareth Ackerman (Whom I really do know) just to be met with cajoling... Good Lord is he for real?? Do you honestly do things like this to old women? Is this how he treats his mother?
No I did not get my way but I did not want my way. I wanted what is correct and just.
I carried all that stuff home at the expense of my back and neck. I went to all the trouble of shopping in your store just to be treated like that.... HOW ON EARTH DOES THAT EQUATE TO ME GETTING MY WAY?
I would like a public apology from Dawid. He should also apologize to the staff for being the worst role model in the history of P'nP and then he should apologize to Jeremy for keeping a good customer away forever. Needless to say once you get abused on this scale you never want to spend your very hard earned pension in a store like that.
I am R90.00 out of pocket. Another tin of Fish which he kept there with the R256.00 slip and also my R5.70 there and R5.70 back bus fare.
Not to mention how terrible something like this makes you feel.
Very sad.

Pnp Melkbos
Went to pick n pay in Melkbos yesterday to send Parcel. Manager on duty tells me they don't have envelopes and it's out of their hands. So I couldn't send my parcel!!! Also tells me that they might or might not bring envelopes that day or the next day. I'm shocked! How de he'll can u be out of envelopes, surely it has to be ordered ahead of time and surely Aramex has a good idea how many parcels pnp sends weekly, so make sure they have at least 30 envelopes extra. So now I disappointed my clients and I look like the fool. Looking for a different courier service

The Brazen Head Pub at Seaside Village - 4/10 in my opini0n
Today I used my R350 Voucher I won in The Seaside Village R10 000 shopping Spree competition.
The Steak I ordered for lunch was very stringy and fatty. The chips were ok. but the apple pie I had for dessert was overly chewy - like it had been frozen and then microwaved
